1-2-3 Turkey Stock

1 onion -- course chop
2 celery stalk w/ leaves -- cut into 4" length
3 carrots -- chunks
1 teaspoon @ salt & pepper
2 turkey wings
3 cloves garlic
green-leaf lettuce
1 small hand fresh sage leaves

For 3 1/2 QT slow cooker. Layer onions, carrot, sage in slow cooker. Pack turkey wings on top of veggies. Add seasonings. Cover with lettuce. Add about 2 cups water. Cook on high for 1 hour and then low for 7 hours. Strain stock. Add more salt to taste.

Add noodle and veggies for soup -or - Put stock in small containers and freeze for later use.
