Chicago Club Sandwich 4 Slices rye bread
4 ts Butter or margarine; softened
4 Thin slices Swiss cheese
4 Lettuce leaves; washed and dried
4 Thin slices baked or boiled ham
4 Thin slices cooked white meat of turkey or chicken
1 c Bottled or homemade Russian dressing
4 Thin tomato slices
4 Hard-cooked egg slices
4 Sweet pickle slices
8 Thin slices bacon; fried crisp and drained
Spread each bread slice with butter or margarine. Place each one on
an individual small serving plate. Top each with a slice of cheese,
a lettuce leaf, a slice of ham, a slice of turkey or chicken, and 1/4
cup Russian dressing. Then top with a tomato slice, an egg slice, a
pickle slice, and
2 slices bacon.
